"Being a roof installer in Edmonds I only refer my customer to Chinook for roof cleaning.  It seems as if there are a lot of roof cleaners in Edmonds brushing and pressure washing off roofs.  As example one of my customers had me come and inspect her roof after a company cleaned off the moss with a stiff brush.  From the ground the roof looked great, however up close it looked like 25% of the roof granular came off!  The homeowner started  claim with their insurance company, and she won the claim, and I installed a new roof.  Be very careful who you have clean your roof.  The instructions that come with roof material say to not brush or pressure wash on GAF and leading asphalt shingle products.  Chinook never brushes roof moss, and sprays soft wash."
